Objectives

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Gain and spread awareness about the various areas where Artificial Intelligence is relevant in our lives.
  • Correlate with the real-world applications of AI to generate an AI mindset.
  • Describe the way AI is playing a pivotal role nation building and development
Introduction

In this session students will be given introduction to the role of artificial intelligence in 21st century. They will be learning about how AI is shaping the smart cities, AI as a career option and it’s future, AI’s contribution to nation building and development.

Students will be introduced to artificial intelligence’s important role in shaping the whole 21st century. They will be taught how AI is shaping smart cities by providing security, maintenance and various other advantages. Then they will be given an introduction to the booming career opportunities presented by artificial intelligence to the human beings. Finally, they will be taught about AI’s contribution in nation building and development.

Before Class
  1. Make sure each PC has the latest version of PictoBlox installed and running.
During Class
  1. Make sure they write the script by selecting the appropriate sprite.
  2. Make sure they use and understand the right classes of Pictoblox Python interface for different functions while writing the code.
After Class
  1. Make sure students save their codes/scripts.
  2. Make sure they shut down the PC/Laptops before leaving.
